Individual Feldenkrais sessions are called Functional Integration® Lessons. They are individualized and designed to meet each person's unique needs.

Everyone, including you is unique. Whether you have a health condition or you have struggled with breathing, I will guide you to unravel the tension and confusion around breathing.

You will learn the mechanical aspects and chemistry in simple terms to understand the WHY. It is time to breathe easier, as well as get expert guidance for sustainable change. Communicating through touch and movement in addition to words, the teacher guides you in a one-on-one process of self-discovery.

Lying on a table, or in a sitting or standing position, you are led along movement sequences that will help you expand the self-image and enable you to include more of yourself in your movements. After experiencing Feldenkrais® lessons, people often express feelings of relaxation and ease. They may breathe more freely and find their thoughts have more clarity. The learning process is full of pleasant surprises and personal breakthroughs. The Feldenkrais Method is for anyone who wants to reconnect with their natural abilities to move, think, and feel.

The lesson stays with you for a considerable length of time. Right after the lesson you will feel the greatest difference. Often that evening a person will find that they are tired and have deep sleep. The following day people often report that they feel their body accommodating to the new way of moving.

As you attend to the improving quality of movement, unnecessary muscular tensions throughout the body can reorganize and release. Students are often amazed at the quick and clear changes that occur through the neuromuscular re-patterning that happens in an Awareness Through Movement lesson!
